We got a behind-the-scenes look at how Unilock makes their pavers - and it genuinely changed how we approach material selection. Seeing the full manufacturing process up close gave us a level of product knowledge you just can't get from a brochure or a product sheet.
One of the most valuable parts of the visit was understanding the difference between finishes and how each one performs in real-world applications. Smooth vs. textured. Tumbled vs. sawn. Each finish has specific strengths depending on the use case - whether that's a high-traffic driveway, a patio built for entertaining, or a retaining wall that needs to hold up over time. Knowing this helps us steer clients toward the right choice from the start.
There's a wide range of colors, profiles, and sizes in the Unilock lineup, and it's easy to get overwhelmed when you're picking materials for a job. Having walked the plant and handled these products hands-on, we can now cut through the noise and help you narrow down what actually works for your space - not just what looks good in a catalog.
We're grateful to the Unilock team for putting this together. Investing in this kind of education is how we stay sharp, and more importantly, how we deliver better results for the people we work with.
