Full Backyard Build From Rough Grade to Finished Landscape

New construction yards are rough. No topsoil, uneven grade, bare dirt everywhere - it's basically a blank canvas that needs a lot of work before anything green can thrive. That's exactly where we came in on this one.

We handled the whole scope - grading and dirt work to get the ground properly shaped, hardscaping, irrigation, and the full landscape install. Each piece of that list matters, but the grading is where it really starts. If the ground isn't moving water the right way, nothing you put on top of it is going to hold up long-term.

The irrigation goes in next, before anything gets planted or seeded. Getting that system buried and laid out correctly is what gives the lawn and plantings a fighting chance - especially through dry stretches. It's one of those things you don't think about until it's too late and you're watching a new lawn go brown in August.

Once the hardscaping was set and the irrigation was dialed in, we could finish the landscape install. Clean lines, proper plant placement, and a lawn that's set up to establish strong roots rather than just survive. What you end up with is a yard that looks great now and is built to stay that way.

Good landscaping isn't just what you see on the surface. The work that happens below grade - the drainage, the irrigation, the soil prep - that's what separates a yard that lasts from one that becomes a headache a year down the road.
